Cochin has been the business and commercial hub of south India since very ancient days. Alappuzha also known as Alleppey, is a town in Alappuzha District of Kerala state of Southern India, Kumarakom where nature is at its pristine best, where the coconut palms, the lush green carpet of paddy fields, the enchanting mangroves, the meandering lagoons and backwaters weave an embroidery of sorts, an atmosphere which rejuvenates your mind and soul. The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the world's most fascinating natural wildlife reserves. Some of the rarest species of flora and fauna can be found here.

Cochin / Alleppey – House Boat / Kumarakom /Thekkady/ Cochin

Day 01: Arrive at Cochin:
Meet & Greet and transfer to hotel. Depending on arrival time half day city tour visit to St. Francis Church - built completely of timber and later reconstructed in stone masonry, Pierce Leslie Bungalow - this charming mansion was the office of Pierce Leslie, this building reflects Portuguese, Dutch and local influences, Loafer's Corner/Princess Street - the traditional meeting place and hangout of the jovial fun loving people of the area. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 02: Cochin / Alleppey – Kumarakom:
After breakfast, checkout and proceed to Alleppey, on arrival board your Houseboat and travel around Kerala’s best backwater area. All meals served on board and overnight.
Day 03: Kumarakom:
After breakfast, checkout and check in to a resort at Kumarakom- an unbelievably beautiful paradise of mangrove forests, emerald green paddy fields and coconut groves interspersed with enchanting waterways and canals adorned with white lilies. Evening visit to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary - An enchanting backwater destination, which is spread across 14 acres, is a favorite haunt of migratory birds and an ornithologist's paradise. Overnight.
Day 04: Kumarakom:
Breakfast and relax for the rest of the day enjoying the backwaters of Kerala. Overnight.
Day 05: Kumarakom / Thekkady:
Breakfast and check out and proceed to Thekkady - the very sound of the word Thekkady conjures up images of elephants, unending chains of hills and spice scented plantations. On arrival check into the resort. Lunch and relax. Later on visit to The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary - situated on the banks of the Periyar Lake - an artificial lake, at Thekkady. Return to resort and overnight.
Day 06: Thekkady:
Breakfast and relax for the rest of the day or opt for plantation tour or forest trekking. Overnight.
Day 07: Thekkady / cochin:
Breakfast and checkout and drive to Cochin and drop to Airport to board the flight for onward destination. Tour Ends.
